2015 is here, and with the New Year comes new and enjoyed exercise styles, techniques and trends that we believe are going to be just as popular and effective as they were in ’14.

Following the success of other hybrid classes, including boxercise and spinning; here at Thailand Fitness Boot Camp – we bring you Cardio Tennis!

It’s a workout that offers much more than your average workout, and promises to improve much more than your backhand! So, if you love tennis, love fitness, and want to make 2015 your year of getting fit and staying fit – this one’s for you!

An exercise routine that was developed back in 2005 in the USA due to a fall in interest in the sport, the Lawn Tennis Association launched it in the UK in 2013, and now we’re bringing it to you!

Basically, Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable group-exercise class with players of all ages and abilities! It’s a series of tennis-based drills, activities and regimes set on, of course, a tennis court and played to up-tempo music! You don’t need to have any tennis skills, but it’s an exercise based upon keeping your heart rate up, burning calories and having fun.

Is Cardio Tennis suitable for me?

As it’s a tennis inspired cardio-workout, it’s as much of a great option for those who are just starting to get fit as those who have been exercising for years –it really is suitable for all! In 60 minutes, you can, on average, burn 600+ calories depending on your movement, and as it’s all about you – you can control how hard you work, with noticeable improvement over time!
